Trouble for the bond (& maybe the stock markets) :

U.S. prices jump, sales up

U.S. wholesale prices rose 0.9 percent last month while retail sales also rose 0.9 percent, the government said Friday -- both above Wall Street forecasts. Bonds fell and stock futures trimmed early gains as investors already worried about rising oil prices eyed the latest economic data pointing to a possible pickup in inflation. Excluding food and energy costs, the Producer Price index rose 0.3 percent, also above analysts' forecasts.
