o/t--it is somewhat about the land, but the Palestinians already have a home...it's called Jordan. The main thing is, as you say, they want the Jews out of Israel.
However, the conflict is not a mere 52 years old...it is thousands of years old. The one God belief of those Jews vs the idolatry of the Egyptians later to be replaced by the fundamentalist Moslems vs Judaism.

And the twits that rammed the Cole were probably praising Allah all the way to the end. The most violent of the group are also the most fundamentalist.
