The fact is that Prudential has tons of cash to burn but you don't. 1) Over the years I have had some stock recommended by Prudential Analyst, there are stock they recommended went down like steep hill :)
2) For Prudential, lost $20MM in their portfolio may not be a big deal, but loss $2000 for you may be severiously hurt :)
3) Prudential has the same goal to make money, they may withdraw any time without telling you first. But they do wish tell everyone that they are buying. This kind of game is nothing new.
