Logic would tell you that technology should reduce the cost, but under the Federal Acquisition Regulation, and the constant annual adjustments to appropriations by Congress, compounded by constant unfunded deployments which don't serve our national security interests, the government contractors aren't able to produce at a steady state rate, thus driving up costs astronomically. I think you would have a hard time convincing me that the Republicans provided nuclear weapons technology to the Pakistanis.knc
