Right now the NDX is up 140, and if the NDX closes here then it would form a "PIERCING LINE" which is a BULLISH REVERSAL SIGNAL. If the NDX was to move up more and close above yesterdays open then that would be a "BULLISH ENGULPHING". Regardless both candlestic patterns are has fair-to-good reliability.
