The web site playersnetwork.com will host the historic three-day live streaming broadcast from the Las Vegas Convention Center October 18-20, 2000, beginning at 11:00 a.m. (PST) daily, making the trade show more global in reach than ever before.
In addition to the live broadcasts, news stories and video highlights from each day's events will be archived and accessible for download through the daily online newspaper, World Gaming Live! It is available at worldgaminglive.com.
Playersnetwork.com executives Mark Bradley, founder and CEO, and Michael Berk, creator and producer of television's Baywatch, partnered with WGCE and International Game Technology (IGT) to produce the live streaming Internet broadcast.
Playersnetwork.com broadcasting headquarters will be located inside the International Game Technology IGT Booth (# 3122), on the expo floor. From a raised production stage above the booth, broadcast hosts, guests and audiences will have a birds-eye view of activities on the convention floor. Playersnetwork.com will also tape interviews from various locations within the expo, as well as broadcast from the Gaming Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies on Thursday night.
Web-surfers worldwide are invited to participate in this history-making event by logging on to playersnetwork.com. A detailed schedule of events and interviews will be available on the web site beginning October 16. The web-cast can also be accessed through worldgaminglive.com, the official web site of WGCE 2000.
The printed daily newspaper, World Gaming Live!, will be published at the expo the mornings of October 18 and 19, and will also be posted on worldgaminglive.com. It will feature stories and photographs from several hot-topic seminars each day, as well as news about the hottest products and services available on the expo floor.
