Actually if you moved your money in january between the 1st and the 15th you sold at the highs. nasdaq was above 5000 The highest the Nasdaq reached between Jan 1-15 was on the first trading day of the year, Jan 3rd @ 4192. There were many days below 4000. Nasdaq didn't reach 5000 until March.
