Jubak has a very interesting article this morning called "A Pain-Killing Strategy For Buy-And-Hold Investors" that might be of interest to readers of this thread: Given the discussions we've had on this thread about LTB & H, his comments are worth pondering. I think he is saying basically that if you're the type of investor that needs a little action now and again (most of us?) but believe in LTB & H as a strategy you can use the same stocks to satisfy both urges.Maintain a core investment that is LTB & H but have some extra shares that you sell when they're high and buy when they're low. Course, don't buy if they're not going higher and vice verse. Kat
