Yaacov, If the Fed raises interest rates as it did back in March, and the stock falls on its can, I would add a little dry powder to pick up shares probably in a defensive company whose business is not hampered or negatively effected by a downturn in the economy. I may also decide to buy positions of stocks which are out of favor but would have good potential in a cycle rebound. Since I am a long term investor, I try not to allow this to stop me from adding monies to my companies. I realize that the single most influential factor is interest rates but I choose only stocks which are the leaders in their class.
