I should have also pointed out that the JM-Reef IS presently being mined in the Stillwater Complex by the Denver-based Stillwater Mining Company.

The JM-Reef averages about 2 meters in thickness and averages about 22 grams/ton combined Pd-Pt making it the richest PGM mineable horizon on the planet. The JM-Reef occurs in the Lower Banded Zone stratigrtaphically about one kilometer higher than the chromitite horizons.

Regards, T.
