You earlier mentioned a need of some kind to maintain a differential. Now, you indicate that you simply are observing a differential and holding no opinions. Good back pedalling. :-)

Your points about debt and current account deficits are well taken. However, they are beside the main point. We were talking about whether or not the Feds may lower interest rates. I see that you stil present no reason (opinion, if you will) as to why they should do this.
