Etruscan has continued exploration on the ground outside the Placer Dome optioned area of the Tiawa Permit to prioritize targets for detailed exploration including diamond drilling. Most of this work, consisting mainly of induced polarization geophysical and auger drilling, geochemical surveys, complemented by limited trenching and reverse circulation drilling has been concentrated along the Tonde Boubangou 10 kilometre target and the 5 kilometre target in the Boulon Djounga West zone. Promising targets are emerging from this preliminary exploration and the company will report on these findings in due course. The Boulon Djounga West Zone has been traced to the Burkina Faso border by airborne and ground geophysics. Because of the outstanding potential, Etruscan has recently acquired a 45 percent interest in BF GeoMin Mining Development Corporation, the holder of the 269 square kilometre Datambi Permit in Burkino Faso covering the western extension of the BD West Zone. Reconnaissance geochemical surveys have been completed and indicate that the geology and potential for gold mineralization is similar to the Tiawa permit. Etruscan Enterprises Ltd. is involved in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties in North America and West Africa. Etruscan is presently exploring 3 exploration permits (Tiawa, Kossa and Koma Bangou) in Niger, West Africa from which it has discovered in excess of 2 million ounces of gold to date. The common shares of Etruscan are traded on The Toronto Stock Exchange and The Vancouver Stock Exchange under the symbol "EET". Etruscan is 7.4 percent (2,006,834 shares) beneficially owned by Nova Gold Resources Inc. which is listed on The Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol "NRI" and 15.3 percent (4,175,275) by Placer Dome Inc.
