Modify the value of 'SmoothScroll' to either '00 00 00 00' for disabled, or '01 00 00 00' for enabled.

This doesn't seem to correspond to what I am seeing in my registry. I have
SmoothScroll 0x00000000 (0)

I double-click on "SmoothScroll", and get the "Edit DWord Value" window. I see some other value names that have binary values, but not SmoothScroll. From the look of it, this window wants to accept either a 1 or a 0.

So I entered a 1, set the browser for smooth scrolling, and rebooted. The checkbox in the browser is now empty, and the browser does not perform smooth scrolling.

The preference just gets lost. I guess I need to install a different version.

Thanks,
Frank
