Why do you use BFRE as the banner ad index? BFRE is a performance based marketer, NOT a banner ad company.

In other words I think some of YHOO's troubles are BFRE's gain. The BFRE market makers just don't know it yet :-).

Internet advertising is not going away. Companies purchasing advertising are simply shifting to a different style of advertising. IMO, companies (the smart ones) are moving more towards highly targeted _performance_ based advertising INSTEAD of banner advertising.

Wired : performance based marketing models, CPS (CPS= cost per sale) ...ala BFRE. Companies like this model because they only pay when a sale is made!

Tired: banner advertising models (usually associated with branding) , CPM(CPM= cost per thousand eyeballs no matter what)....ala Yahoo.
