I think Ice overreacted when you posted the grub to him. And maybe it has something to do with the rally, a couple of people have suggested that, and if so, maybe you shouldn't have reacted back. Someone had to act like a grown-up, why not you?
It's the nature of a flame war that it spin out of control. If you and Ice were face to face you probably wouldn't punch each other because you know it would hurt. Whenever I spank my kids, it really hurts my hands because I have arthritis. So the old joke, "this is gonna hurt me as much as it does you" has some truth to it. I've never punched someone but I imagine it hurts the hands like a sonofabitch.
Mere words don't hurt the body but they hurt the psyche. And you were not an innocent bystander, you were an active participant.
Further, as Ice mentions, you were very upset about the argument between him and Happy Girl. You and I have argued when Luc was suspended, and MythMan was suspended. You have taken the position that the people on the Clown Free thread are attacking people on other threads. I read the Porch from time to time, and the MDD thread from time to time, and I've never seen you chastise anyone for making fun of us, in general, and Luc, in particular.
