K., I would love to prove you right about knowing just the right word, but I am unable to oblige. That doesn't mean I do not have a suggestion, incorporating a few words. In Brown v. the Board of Education, which the Supremes decided many decades ago, they said that school integration should be accomplished "with all deliberate speed" (or some such phrase), a term which no one could then, or for many years thereafter, define with any accuracy. Of course, we now know that they meant...perhaps in a half century or maybe by the next millennium. Hence, I propose, "With all deliberate speed." Everyone should be able to live with that, except, of course, Beautiful Rudi. Too bad, she will have to awaken poor, unfortunate Arthur, who hasn't had a good night's rest in months, to woof the explanation to her. I wager he begs her daily to go back to that little grass shack in Hawaii so he can get some rest and relaxation at kennel camp.
