You say that Cruz incorporated the takeover company as Jackpot and wasn't hard to find. It all depends on when you found it. Did you find it on or after Friday October 8,1999 when the Jackpot caper was sprung on the public or before October 8,1999? Believe me I got nowhere with my inquiries before that date to find out who the mysterious investors were. I also saw nothing on any of the message boards before October 8, 1999 mentioning the name Cruz or the company Jackpot. Whoever did know sure wasn't talking.
