Under the last 4 yrs of market circumstances, stocks that become PGDCEBs are not those of the optionable species.
However, this year, more optionable cats have been taking up residence in the Cathouse. Many would, and do, claim that it's a cyclical thing. In my opinion, any market circumstance can be "forced" into fitting any cyclical paradigm but rarely (actually NEVER) can all market movements be tagged as fitting one particular cycle.
In this respect, although it currently appears that an "effort" is being made to minimize the profitability of in-the-money puts, there is absolutely no reason to base forward strategies on this appearance.
