Fuchi,

I'm looking at upgrading to an m2 and trying to run at 75 or 83 mhz. I went to a local computer store today to get theire opinion on mb and ram. To my surprise they didnt have a clue. They had one board that supports 75 mhz but have not tried to run a chip at 75 yet. Also no sram dimms in stock and only a few 60 ns dram chips and alot of 70ns. When I said I was looking to upgrade to a m2 they told me they didnt have any slot 1 boards in stock? to sum it all up I have no faith in this store and the other in my town is just as bad. I dont have faith in the computer show that stops by once every 3 months either. I was hoping you could suggest a quality mail order supplier. I need good tech support and ease in ability to return faulty products. I know you have preached quality ram for higher bus speeds so I think sram is best for me, does it really matter who makes the sram? Also can you combine sram and dram on the same mb?

thank you
mike

the great thing about owning cyrix stock is hopfully the stock will rise and provide me a "free" upgrade
