P6 & Digital Now
VIENNA, Va., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Digital Now, Inc., (Australia: DNI) a leading developer of
digital imaging technology and e-commerce solutions for the photofinishing industry, announced
today it has forged a deal with PSINet, the Internet Super Carrier, to purchase dial-up connectivity
from PSINet that will allow Digital Now to offer free Internet access to its photo lab customers
around the world.

The service offering is designed to facilitate photo labs' progression from a film processing-only
business model to offering superior customer satisfaction -- and increased revenues -- through the
emerging, value-added online photofinishing market and the growing demand for digital products.

Free access, customer service, and marketing support is available to photo labs that use Digital
Now's Digital Photo Factory software and custom-branded MyPhotosNow.com site to provide
value-added digital photo finishing services for their customers. PSINet also provides the
connectivity and Internet infrastructure for MyPhotosNow.com.

While online photo finishing is still in its infancy, photofinishers' reliance on digital products and the
Internet for income generation has become a reality no lab can overlook. Jonathan Rosenzweig,
Managing Director of the U.S. Equity Research Division of Salomon Smith Barney, has stated that
photo labs should "look for the niche opportunities to leverage the Web and digital technology where
you can. The worse thing to do is to ignore reality. You have to be quick and leading-edge just to
stay in the game."

Digital Now entered into the agreement with PSINet to help its current and future photo lab
customers leverage the Web and become online photofinishing providers while the technology is still
in an early adopter phase. "Online photo delivery has already proven to be a product enjoyed by
millions, "said Stephen Giordano, president and CEO of Digital Now. "By offering free, high-quality
PSINet Internet access to photo labs, we're helping to enable everyone's participation. We are very
pleased to offer PSINet's service to photo labs everywhere."
