Gary: How is it that SOLV is valued at approximately $150,000,000 by the "market" in the face of an SEC investigation, incredibly scathing releases by Asensio & Co., an estimated 7.5 million shares sold short? I don't own THAT many shares. Think hard about this as it is clear that alot of money, some of which must be "smart" money is in the stock.
racer: I said $20 for what it is worth. I did not promise and I would have preferred to stay away, but, alot of folks wrote me expressing disappointment that I had left.
I added 8,000 shares to my account day before yesterday. If SOLV is ever worth zero I will have lost everything I own (a significant amount). If I had a million dollars more it would be in SOLV within days. I have NO doubt that SOLV will make it. I've had doubts about whether or not I would get wiped out of a margin account, but, not about SOLV (within the last few weeks anyways).
I talk with knowledgable people each and every day about what is going on and I have little reason to worry about SOLV. My only lingering fear is related to how low the shorts will stoop to continue plagueing SOLV. I put NOTHING past the SOLV "short sellers".
So who are you racer? I don't want #'s, but, I doubt you're here for any other reason than you're paid to be and only you can prove otherwise. What are you afraid of? Milberg could represent you if anyone harrassed you. Perhaps you are Paul Richards replacement?
I ask you.... How the heck is it that the stock is at $7 if any of which you believe (or Asensio states) is true? NOBODY would own their stock. NOBODY. There are few people brave enough to stick with a company that has been attacked so successfully for so long and their are fewer prospective investors willing to take the plunge. It's certainly not hype holding it up at this stage, it's confidence that they will be in continuous production mode in the near future.
What do you suppose the stock is worth IF (humor us and pretend for minute racer) it becomes evident they can produce a barrel of oil for $6 per barrel with their logwasher method AND they have an investment banker backing them through the completion of their $600,000,000 plant? $7 per share or maybe a little more? (By the way I remember people chastizing SOLV because they were building a $200,000,000 plant! Now that they are going full bore due to the development of pipeline right at the back door you folks criticize the change in plans.)
How many other optimists must there HAVE to be for this stock to remain at these levels despite an SEC investigation? Must be a bunch of us!
Later, and relax racer...,
