Eric,re:"favor violent resolution". Let's say you are overpower by a 300lbs boxer and you are a little guy with a gun/knife or something. Will you fight back with the 'force' you have in your hand. That's not violent. That's survival. That's why U.S.A has invested so much on 'POWER' to overpower (or bully) everyone else. U.S.A survives on 'POWER' and 'MONEY'. The little guys survivies on 'Violent'? The good things in America is that (as this current adminstration favors), we are both right, OR NOBODY IS WRONG. An enemy is also a friend until you need to kill the enemy. Then you just have a 'DEAD FRIEND'. Like Cholestral, there is GOOD and BAD. So is 'Violent'. Then again, please define 'Violence'. How about, 'justifiable violence' vs 'non-justifiable violence'.
