don,

re new high new low - we wont see much expansion on new high mainly so many stocks are so much off their high of the year. to me the key is to see IF THE NEW LOW STARTS A MEANINGFUL CONTRACTION - if it does, that means selling pressure ease, if not, there is still selling into rally and people despite not much gain to offset, still selling their losers ... if the new low expands again, then we will most likely make lower low in coming weeks. from May low, the new low quickly contracted in the 4-day period from 05/30 to 06/02. check it out.

cycle people have month end being 2nd macro low period in Oct. (the 1st one was around 10-11 which it fulfilled)
