I say big whoop. What's the point? I think we know the the news is real at this point. If you read the Mot. site disclaimer/use agreement, you'll find they say right there that "other sites" within/linked to Mot's site are not guaranteed. Nothing strange at all, really. MOT bought General Instruments...now the GI site reads lots like MOT wrote it, but still is GI site.

By the by, note that Fonix TTS(text to speech) is all the Mot. site mentions.. in a single newly found reference to date. No Fonix ASR(speech recognition) or anything else whatever. It seems the Fonix TTS is being added picked up by a number of vendors for inclusion into products that use other proprietary ASR solutions. If you look around Mot's site, you'll soon find that they claim to have EXCELLENT speech solutions of their own.

But alas, suddenly we see like many others, they've turned to Fonix, as least for the one product. I think it's a great sign.

Again, Fonix has documented it well, I'm sure it's quite true that MOT has signed Fonix as advertised, and I see nothing strange...so what's the point???...unless you folks just can't believe Fonix got the ink!
