I agree with you Gmccon, we can not take our money to our graves. When I reached 50, four years ago, I realized I have only 24 years or less to live (based on a life expectancy of 74 for males). So, I took it easy and tried to enjoy all the little things that I ignored in the past. Earlier this year, I did not wait for age 59 1/2 , to withdraw money from my IRA. As long as my investment in AMAT have superior results, year after year, I will continue getting money from my IRA to enjoy what that money can buy--- while I'm still strong to do so. (Of course, I also set aside money for my 4 kids' mutual funds).

Alfred Stein probably needed the money to buy a Beach House or some other things He wanted to enjoy!...
