David, thanks for the info. I think the theory proves though, that a better trade would have been to sell coms before the IPO, buy coms AFTER the IPO of Palm and sell it just before the distribution again. If MRVC is a holding company and analysts wil see it that way it will help. Gilders fanatical following helps no doubt.

Guess there is no easy answer.
