Tim, assuming that your position is logical, and indeed a fetus is "alive", you must have a concept as to when that life started, is it at conception? Is it at the moment you can detect brain waves? Is it at the moment the fetus has an independent heart beat? Is it when the mother can feel the fetus kicking? When? How do you chose the moment that a fetus is alive, and how do you rationalize this choice against other choices? For me it is easy, the bible tells me when life starts, "with the first independent breath", how do you chose? The next question would be can other rational being chose differently than you have? Last, I do not appreciate you terming my holy bible teachings "ridiculous", these teaching have served many for thousands of years. I promise not to term your "opinion" on when life start ridiculous either. I can assure you however, that whatever choice you make, many other choices, including the teaching of the bible will be as rational as yours. Zeev
