my calc of MP uses OI at *all* strikes, perhaps not the most appropriate, but that's the way I coded it. (its a program I wrote awhile ago, purely mechanical, grabs data automatically, and munges it. who knows if it gets bad data or whatever. I try to trap errors, but who knows? ;-)

as a matter of history, my QQQ mp calc had been at 90 for the longest time, until Friday's #'s came out (when it dropped all the way to 76). IMO, mp tends to work better w/ some tickers than others, and not usually w/ indices.
