Terrific post, Crane. You are exactly correct, IMO.

Regarding my "I will turn on a dime. . ." disclaimer. . . it was added in the midst of the September volatility. The markets were turning on a dime. As traders, we needed to as well. . .or become toast. I did not place the disclaimer there out of confusion, but rather as an EXAMPLE of the responsiveness necessary to keep on the right side of these super volatile markets.

If we see the volatility subside and begin moving in a more steady manner. . .I will not feel the need to remind everyone that I am turning on a dime along with the markets. . . but rather we will begin to have confidence in NOT turning with the markets. And THAT will be significant.

I hope that brings more clarity. . .
