are you sure they can't buy it before the close, that is to say as close as possible to the close, during the last hour or so. so wouldnt the best time to sell PWER (if you are playing this "scalping" game) be during the last few minutes of the last hour? Or, assuming it (the bulk of the buying) happens after hours at the open the next morning?

I had the best luck playing (for a small investor, indeed, very small,) YHOO which went to almost 250 on the day of the inclusion, up only slightly the next day before going sharply down as I remember and I sold the last of my betting shares only a few minutes before the close.

the idea of a getting a sure thing is irresistible, but when is the optimum time to sell into the mandated buying?
