Hang on there Coots, Clinton clearing spectrum...ooops, politics. Zhu Rongji investigating CDMA...ooops, politics. Gore gave Irwin...no, politics. Umm, spectrum auctions in Europe...nope, politics. GSM vs CDMA in Europe...nope that's politics. W-CDMA vs cdma2000 in Korea...no, politics again. Gee, there isn't much to discuss. Back to Walsh functions and keyboard layouts? Yawn...

It has been obvious for half a decade that the big issue on CDMA is politics. Front and centre [or center for the politically hegemonous].

If people can't discuss politics without losing their mind, then they won't do well at investing.

Eugene, I'm sick of people demonizing Ramsey as though it is only he who wants a junk-free zone. I want one too and so do a lot of people. Barbarians scribbling on walls, [it's called graffiti] get caned in Singapore. Vandalistic scribbling is infantile behaviour. Sure, some careless, free-flowing random opinion is fine [here and in some places] but sometimes it's more sensible to use self-restraint and be respectful of other people.

There are a bunch of Q! SI streams for people to choose to swim in. If anyone doesn't like the style of any of them, they can start their own and solicit people of like mind. Why kick somebody else's sand castle over for spite?

Some people aren't strong on self-restraint.

Feel free to disagree folks. "Heck", the thoughtless will say, "what about the right to free speech? I'll say what I like, where I like, when I like". Which shows a total misunderstanding of what free speech means.

PS: Whoa Marty! I just clicked back upstream and you were in full political commentary... <The end of the news is very typical chinese: Zhongxing vowed to the leaders it will work hard to bring cdma to commercial ASAP, and not to disappoint the leaders high expectation. > Come on, less of the political stuff Marty!!
