We all may have partied in our youth, but McCain has admitted it, Gore addmitted it (though he was no partier and got married to his college sweetheart then went to Nam) and Clinton half-admitted it (didn't inhale was a mistake). Bush is making the same mistake by not discussing his former alcoholism and cocain use, also his avoidance of military. Quayle also denied it and it hurt him as well when a guy stepped forward who had sold him coke. Expect Bush's former dealer or party buddies to be interviewed in coming weeks. Even if it only makes it to the tabloids it will hurt him. Actually I have found the tabloids to usually be true. It's just what the mainstream press is too polite to print.
