They forgot when they fell behind on PIII. When P4 comes out, I'm sure Intel will immediately remember the importance of MHz. ;^)

C'mon, man! The point, which you are stubbornly refusing to discuss, is that Intel appears to have learned that winning the mhz war is not as important as having a successful launch. Sure, if P4 enables Intel to regain the mhz lead, I am sure they will brag about it. But Intel finally appears to have learned that a good launch is more important than winning a skirmish in the mhz war. It took them long enough.

AMD appears to think that big mhz leads and give-away prices are the way to go.

We will see over the next year who is right.
