Ibexx, Is that good for the tech market or bad. Someone who did not want to sell their shares before because of too high capital gains tax may now think otherwise if percentage of taxable profits goes from 66 to 50%. Now is their chance to get out and save some money on taxes. In short term may be bad, in long term, probably good for tech markets. But then again, how much impact does a country of 20 million people have on the global tech market? Unless, of course, U.S. picks up where Canada left off and also lowers capital gains taxes, but I doubt that will happen since U.S. does follow what Canada does.

By the way my QQQ OCT put option order went through at 4 pm on Friday in the height of the buying frenzy, best time to buy puts usually (if you can pick bottom, which I did, got lowest price of the day) as panic buying drops put price more than it should be. Will not matter much though if buying continues on Monday.
