I am using the new NetScreen screening function on the Market Guide site. One thing that is different is that after I screen out ADRs, there are 9391 companies, compared to your 8766. So you're right, we can't compare.

Your screen shows 1872 NYSE companies that are not ADRs, mine shows 1973.

Your screen shows 4367 NASD companies that are not ADRs, mine shows 4655.

Your screen shows 624 AMEX companies that are not ADRs, mine shows 671.

Your screen shows 1903 OTC companies that are not ADRs, mine shows 2092.

So the new database must be larger. It says it's got 9946 active companies, how many does yours have?

Your screens show the market only went up $152 billion on Friday, compared to Wednesday.
