Bush has admitted he had a drinking problem. Everyone knows that. So your inference is wrong. This may surprise you, but quite a few good and decent people have had drinking problems in their life and overcame them.

As far as drugs go, he said he hasn't done any in the past 10 years. That's good enough for me. Why do Democrats want to pry into everyones life all the way back to their teen years?

It's a phony Democrat issue. Because, if Democrats were truly concerned with lying or hiding past indiscretions related to drugs. They would never have elected Bill Clinton twice. He's the only President who has kept his medical records confidential, and out of the publics eye. Some have speculated that he snorted so much cocaine (obtained from his drug pushing brother) that his nose showed severe decay.

Personally, I don't have a problem with a President keeping his medical records confidential. But let's try and not pretend we care deeply about one persons drug use (or hiding it) and nothing at all about the other.

The point in my post is that Whopper Al is no saint. And his past is anything but your beautiful boy scout image. Boy scouts (who abide by their creed) don't lie the way Whopper Al lies.

Here's a video of your "boy scout" Whopper Al.
