He responded with a short-skipped, planned answer. Insufficient. Besides, like the debate about the debates, the Oprah is but a single network show, and it's a good bet that many of the Oprah watchers are non-voters. He should deal with the issue forthrightly, perhaps at a press conference or in some manner where his remarks would be well understood. Gore, when he made his admission, called the press to a press conference and clearly admitted his transgressions with respect to marijuana.
