Since I like the clarity and contrast of the Palm mono screens, I presume you're talking about the color screens? I agree that the Palm IIIc screen is no comparison to the iPaq or Jornada, it'll be interesting to see what the HAND color screen looks like.

I don't know enough about TFT technology to explain the difference, but you're correct that Sharp and Phillips (Palm's suppliers) make good quality screens. Maybe someone else on the thread can explain the differences between the Palm IIIc and the competition.
