Jim,

I dont follow the text-book all the times. I mentioned that recently I was tutored by an old timer who used candlestics trading rice and spices, and when I showed him some of textbook definitions, he changed quite a few things.
Some made sense - some didnt.

On the NDX on SEP 29/OCT 2/3, there was another 3 BLACK CROWs, just a normal one not an IDENTICAL one, and that was with an 800 point decline in the NDX. The NDX bounce strongly 1 day and sold off 500 points. That 3 BLACK CROWS was no where near a top. I consider 3-BLACK CROWs more of a continuation pattern rather than a reversal signal. Often the 3 day of a 3 crows is a short-term bottom.
