Just to point out one thing that was mentioned in that paragraph that Tom D. posted, JNPR has gained market share in only one segment of the overall router market. CSCO's revenues for the 2600/3600 alone are at least 3 times what JNPR has made for all products.

Another way to look at it is that if JNPR has $423M in revenues, at 25% market share, that would mean that CSCO has about $1.275B in revenues just in the core router segment. $423M is about 6.7% of CSCO's total revenues of $18.9B. So JNPR has 25% of 6.7% of CSCO total market.

I should point out that I am not using CSCO's numbers on this other than the $18.9B reported revenues. Just extrapolating starting with the Estimates of JNPR's 25% market share with $423M revenues.
