hey ranger rick, battlebots? what is/are battlebots? took the family to the lake this afternoon. it was the first time we went fishing or had the boat out since september of 1999. in fact that was the main inspiration for the trip as i didn't want the old gas to gum up in the carbs. my 4 and 6 year olds took turns reeling in fish, all rainbows from 12-17 inches long. alex was reeling in one and said "dad, it's too hard". so i called kelci back to see if she wanted to finish reeling in the fish. she eagerly took over and reeled for a while and also said it's too hard. i picked up the pole and realized right away we had a slightly bigger fish on. when i got a glimpse of the fish i yelled, uhhh, i mean calmly asked theresa to grab the net. it was a 9 3/4 lb brown! we turned it loose and all but two of the rainbows. i gotta get out more often!
