eTEAM Technology Partner Standardizes on StarTeam to Manage Development of Custom Software Solutions for World Class E-Business Customers
Starbase Corp. SBAS, the leading provider of collaboration products for the creation and management of integrated code and content e-business applications, Monday announced that Interlink Group Inc., a national e-business consultancy and member of Starbase's technology alliance group, eTEAM, has standardized on StarTeam to manage the development of custom e-business solutions for its global customers.
Interlink is currently licensed for more than 150 StarTeam seats and expected to increase their deployment of StarTeam as their e-business development projects continue to grow.
"Our software development centers specialize in the development of custom software solutions using both pure Java and Microsoft-based technologies," stated Tom Wilk, senior consultant at Interlink Group.
"StarTeam is key to our development process. We use StarTeam for collaboration both internally and with our clients, some of which have implemented the solution themselves to manage both code and content. All project source code and documentation currently under development at Interlink is securely stored within the StarTeam repository and made available to our software development centers.
"Our services offer full lifecycle application development, encompassing Web site design and development for a growing list of corporate clients. Our processes and best-of-breed methodology focus on quality and consistency to enable predictable outcomes which are crucial to meeting the deadlines that e-business demands.
"StarTeam provides our projects, and therefore our customers, a level of collaboration, access and management that is critical in the software development industry."
"As we continue to implement our product strategy and achieve our financial and organizational objectives, we recognize and appreciate the value the Interlink Group brings to Starbase," stated William Stow III, president and CEO of Starbase.
"As users of our products, Interlink has also recommended StarTeam to their own customers for managing e-business applications. As more and more companies acknowledge the need to adopt a Web-based strategy, demands on creative and professional consultancy organizations like Interlink Group will continue to rise."
Stow continued, "StarTeam's collaborative architecture and strong change and process management capabilities make it an easy choice for companies required to deliver state-of-the-art e-business applications in today's fast-paced Internet era."
"We use StarTeam both within our own development centers as well as via a secured Internet connection at our clients' sites," continued Wilk.
"StarTeam was one of the only tools that enabled that capability, which was critical to our selection. StarTeam makes a huge difference in maintaining the quality and manageability of any application. Our own development processes are enabled by StarTeam's collaborative framework, and if clients are looking for those same capabilities we have recommended they evaluate StarTeam."
