Many years ago I realized that much of the training I had recieved as a clinical psychlogist was essentially worthless.It put me in th eposition of "knowing" what was wrong with my patients--map didn't fit the territory. I was sitting in my office at the VA feeling a fraud. I determined that people are and that I needed to learn to listen to them and see why they were. No ego, as you put it. This lead me, over a 30 year period to being able to help everyone that I work with, and being able to truly understand and teach others why people act as they do. It all starts with understanding that it is OK to say "I don't know why," it heats up with "it is what it is," it really begins to be fun when the patterms begin to emerge, and you become a reasnably good predictor when the underlying principles emerge from recurring patterns. If you and other thread members can help us do that in the market, you've got my attention. I and my children and grandchildren thank for taking the time to start, moniter, and comment on the thread.
