Earnings expected May 27th for BNS, BMO....May 28th for RY.....May 29th for TD, NA and June 5th for CM.....Don't know for LB, I should, it's my biggest holding by far......

I would be quite surprised not to see 40 dollar CM this year.......

You asked on the Options thread about CM ever beating RY in per-share earnings? Well, they were doing that regularly until they (CM) split the stock 2-for-1 a month or two ago......and they'll do it again soon........

What is this "strong reason" to expect an upside surprise? These banks are closely followed, consensus earnings projections have been rising throughout the quarter.......More companies are learning to slightly under-estimate earnings, though, it's true......Lord help those coming in a nickel under expectations........
