Just doing what the IRS allows. Since I'm self-employed maybe I have more write-offs than other upper income people. But all these type write-offs are not available to the middle-class. Even if we pay 25% or 30% it's still less than your average factory worker pays. Unless you're an office holder under the microscope any upper-income tax-payer is going to take the maximum write-offs he or she can.
And I'm not even including charity.

Bush's million points of light. Good idea except it doesn't work. Cheney for instance (Bush's right-hand man) gave only 1% of his 4 million income last year. Trickle-down doesn't work and never has.
