You could xerox Bruce's reply and you would get mine. The rich would get a big tax cut because they pay a lot of taxes.

Social programs are not the only thing government spends money on, but we should probably cut there as well. At least we should hold back the increases in social programs.
I don't think there would be higher interest rates if government spending and taxes were cut (or even if government's rate of growth was reduced without actual cuts).
