Hi sylvester80; There was a time when the shortcomings of RDRAM and RIMMs were not obvious, and I felt a much stronger need to comment on them. Now, it is clear to most that DDR is the next mainstream memory, so the center of discussion has shifted to market share.
The Rambus people have been saying the same things about how wonderful Rambus is for years, and how it is going to take over the memory business. This is not news.
Here's a couple Intel links for you, and they show no Rambus:

So if you want to believe that Intel keeps an up to date website with all the latest accurate information, you go right ahead. In fact, their website is a great way of telling where Intel has been, not where they are going.
The technical issues that made RDRAM a dud a year ago are still there. For me to argue them with you, who are clearly not an engineer of any sort, or even possessed of normal intelligence, is pointless.
