Conexant 46.83% Under Valued ?? Possibly.

There was an interesting article in the SF Chronicle this morning about valuengine.com, a site that analyses stocks and produces statistical information about them.

Try this URL valuengine.com

MSFT is theoretically 44.70% undervalued.
INTC is theoretically 48.14% undervalued.
CSCO is theoretically 23.89% undervalued.
AMAT is theoretically 42.44% undervalued.

On the other hand, CNXT's 1 year target price is $39.81, which from $35 is a 13.7% gain.

For my own part the great risk in owning CNXT vs a 7% FDIC insured CD yield, justifies the safe and lower yield of the CD but your mileage may vary.

Their comments on the types of traders is also interesting:
ATTRACTIVE to Growth-at-Reasonable-Prices Investors
ATTRACTIVE to Balanced Investors
UNATTRACTIVE to Classic-Value Investors

Given that I am definitely the Classic-Value variety and most on this board are self-avowed Growth-at-Reasonable-Prices or Balanced, this seems to be the first note of sanity, that I have seen for a long time.
