That is why it will be geared toward WCDMA.
Designing software for direct access to websites may not be a big deal but getting tens of thousands of developers creating content as i-mode has is a big deal. Catching i-mode in content quantity won't be quick or easy. Which is fine with me since WAP doesn't look like it's spurring an overwhelming demand for web enabled phones. If i-mode continues it's wild success in WCDMA think of the increase in ASIC sales and royalties. None of which are probably figured into any Q models.
