Re: "If you build it they will come" is a line from a movie! In business you get commitment before you build it, or your out of business quickly. Good point, after all IBM's original PC concept used an Intel chip, but IBM never really knew what to do with the thing. Next to nil software support, they just built it and hoped a few sales would come. They hoped for, but didn't really expect, eventually getting up to 200,000 sales per year for that Intel based PC. Anybody remember how that eventually worked out? Whatever happened to that Intel outfit anyway? What did they go into after the "build it and they will come" MPU business didn't work out?
